Breakdown assistance & recovery for registered vessel and user only
Breakdown assistance, and recovery (covers registered boat and member only - member must be onboard).
Attend location of breakdown, assess and clarify the problem, rectify and repair the cause of the problem if possible. If the breakdown is terminal or requires extensive repair the owners will be offered the opportunity to be towed to the nearest recommended marina or one of their choice within a two hour cruising time. They will be provided with details of the problem and assistance provided where possible.
If the repair of an outboard motor is not possible, RCR provide a pick up and drop off service to take the outboard to a specialist.
- Maximum of 4 call-outs in any 1 year period
- Pick up and drop off service to take the outboard to a specialist for repairs.
- No crew conveyance.
- Member must be onboard vessel during a breakdown.
