Breakdown Assistance, Recovery, Home-Start Service and Yearly Inspection (covers member on any craft)
We will attend location of breakdown, assess and clarify the problem, rectify and repair the cause of the problem if possible. If the breakdown is terminal or requires extensive repair the owners will be offered the opportunity to be towed to the nearest recommended marina or one of their own choice within two hours cruising.
This level includes a home-start service which will provide cover from a members registered marina or moorings. This service is provided to cover those unforeseen events where problems occur whilst still at home marina.
Gold membership entitles you to a yearly engine and general electrical safety check . Any defective or potential problems will be highlighted and the member advised.
If the repair of an outboard motor is not possible, RCR provide a pick up and drop off service to take the outboard to a specialist.
If your craft is diagnosed as having a terminal breakdown, RCR will convey you and up to five other passengers to your home address or marina.
